Daejeon Cafe: Lanovo // 라노보 (대동점)

 

For the first time in a while I have a cafe that’s not in Galmadong. So for those of you living on the other side of Daejeon, this one is for you!

 

 

 

 

As far as I can tell there are a few of these cafe’s around Daejeon but this is the one located in Daedong. The building was originally used as a church so it’s actually quite big for a cafe with several floors and lots of stained glass windows.

The decor is all over the place. In some areas it looks like a trendy industrial cafe, sometimes a cookie cutter franchise cafe, and in some places like a cafe where older people or children would hang out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But regardless of the interior the rooftop is amazing!

 

 

 

 

If you’ve ever seen any of my travel posts on here you might have noticed that I have a thing for taking pictures of streets, and the view from the top of this cafe is perfect for that.

 

 

 

 

 

We were there at the perfect time to see what the view looks like in the day time sunlight but also as the sun was setting.

 

 

 

In the last few weeks before the weather becomes to hot to bear, I definitely recommend checking this place out for a chilled rooftop drink!
