Daejeon Cafe: Interview Mansion//인터뷰맨션

 

It’s been a long time since I made a cafe blog post, but I’m back with what might the most beautiful cafe I’ve been to in Daejeon. The aesthetic was exactly my style and the coffee was excellent.

Interview Mansion is the sister cafe of Interview which is also located in Yusong and was WILDLY popular on instagram a while back.

From what I’ve heard Interview Mansion is kind of the step up from Interview.

 

 

We’ve now hit that point in the year where the sun is completely gone by about 6:30 and so when we arrived it was already dark. But that didn’t take away from the experience at all.

We immediately ordered and sat down in front of the window in a little room off the main area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The decor is beautiful. Its clean, minimal, modern, but with lovely more classic pieces around that give it a sophisticated vibe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the second floor there is a balcony that looks out over the yard and I imagine is absolutely amazing in the summer time. Unfortunately for us it was much too cold to sit outside.

 

 

 

 

 

We talked there for a long time and it was nice to get out of my usual neighborhoods for a change. I will absolutely be coming here again, hopefully when there’s still light.

 

 

 

 

 

For all my Daejeon people, especially those who live in Yusong, I really recommend checking this place out!

If you take the subway it’s kind of in between Guam station and Yusong Okcheon station on the other side of the street. It’s pretty hard to miss so don’t worry about finding it!
